Oklahoma Man Arrested Regarding String of Threats to Humboldt Schools and Businesses

An Oklahoma man was arrested Friday afternoon, March 21st, regarding multiple Humboldt County felony warrants.  

According to the Arcata Police Department press release, 31 year old Daryl Ray Jones, of Lawton, Oklahoma was identified as the suspect in a string of threats to schools and businesses resulting in lockdown protocols throughout Humboldt County.

Friday afternoon, Jones was arrested by the Lawton Police Department on Humboldt County warrants for multiple felony counts of making terrorist threats and taken into custody without incident in the city of Lawton.  

Jones was booked and lodged at the Lawton City Jail awaiting extradition to Humboldt County to face charges.
