A Winter Weather Advisory and a High Wind Advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service through the weekend after a short break Thursday as another round of low pressure moves onshore with the possibility of heavy rain and strong southerly winds impacting southern Oregon and northern California this weekend.

Possible afternoon and early evening thunder storms and rain are forecast for inland areas Thursday as a new low pressure system moves into the region bringing a colder air mass, precipitation and low elevation snow levels through the weekend. Early morning lows are expected to be in the low to mid 30’s rising to upper 30’s with highs in the low to mid 50’s.
Along the coast, rain is expected Thursday evening with Wind Advisories issued by the National Weather Service over the weekend and the possibility of heavy rain through the weekend. Temperatures are forecast to consistently be in the low to mid 50’s for afternoon highs with morning lows cooling to the low to mid 40’s.
