Just before 6:00pm Sunday, September 20th, the Medford Police Department responded to a fatal motor vehicle crash.
Officials found that motorcycle was traveling at a high rate of speed southbound on Crater Lake Ave in the left lane.
A truck was stopped in the lane making a left turn. The motorcycle struck the truck and the operator was launched from his motorcycle into an oncoming vehicle.
The Serious/Fatal Traffic Accidents Reconstruction team and a Medford detective responded to assume the investigation.
