Mostly Sunny Skies to End Work Week, with Changes Starting Sunday

A dome of high pressure established off the southern Oregon coast continues to push weather systems to the north, impacting northern Oregon and Washington, and is forecast to continue circulating areas of scattered clouds to end the work week.

Areas inland are forecast to see mostly sunny skies, with a calm northwest wind to end the work week, continuing into Sunday, before the chance for precipitation moves into the area. Temperatures will be in the upper 30’s to 40 low 40’s in the morning, with highs in the upper 60’s, possibly reaching 70 in some areas.  

Coastal areas will also continue to see mostly sunny skies, Friday, with increasing clouds starting Saturday, and possibly bringing in a very good chance of precipitation late Sunday. Low 40’s for early morning lows will continue through the weekend, with high temperatures in the mid to upper 60’s, cooling to the upper 50’s late Sunday.
