The front that brought the rain showers has gradually weaken and move out of the region early Wednesday morning ushering in the clearing skies will also bring a much colder air mass with some of coldest temperatures so far this year.
Inland areas should expect patchy morning fog to start Thursday, burning off before noon and giving way to mostly sunny skies in the afternoon. Temperatures will stay cool, with some low’s falling into the upper 20’s by the weekend, and afternoon highs only getting to the upper 50’s.
Areas along the coast are forecast to see mostly clear skies with some cloud cover accumulation possible before clearing once again to mostly clear skies continuing into the weekend. Afternoon highs are only expected to get to the upper 50’s up and down the coast with early morning low temperatures dropping low 40’s.
