As the area dries out from significant rain totals from the past weekend, another strong low pressure system approaches the forecast area with increasing clouds, cooler temperatures and significant chances for rain to end the work week.
A low pressure system pushing onshore late Wednesday and Thursday is expected to bring showers to the region starting as early as Wednesday evening in coastal areas before stalling and increasing chances of precipitation as the week progresses.
Rain is expected to start along coastal areas along the southern Oregon coast as early as late Wednesday evening, increasing in probability into Thursday. Interior areas are expected to see increasing cloudiness Thursday with isolated showers Thursday evening and early Friday. Temperatures will continue to be mild in the mid 60’s to low 70’s for highs inland, with highs reaching the low to mid 60’s along the coast.
