Low pressure remains offshore across the Northwest and though organized weather systems are not expected, unstable air from the Gulf of Alaska is forecast to continue pushing additional rain showers and possible thunderstorms through Thursday behind the front from earlier in the work week.
Showers and possible thunderstorms are forecast for inland areas with significant chances of precipitation to close out the work week and through the weekend. High temperatures will be in the low to mid 50’s into the weekend with lows getting into the upper 30’s to end the work week getting to mid 40’s into the weekend.
Along the coast, heavy rain is forecast to continue through the end of the work week with thunderstorms and cold air. Patchy localized morning fog is expected as cold air following the last weather system pushes onshore to finish the work week with lows in the mid to upper 30’s into the weekend, with afternoon highs in the mid to upper 40’s to low 50’s.
