More of the Same in Forecast for the Weekend

The ridge of high pressure off the coast will continue to keep skies mostly clear and temperatures mild is expected to weaken going into the weekend, allowing a low pressure system to push down from the Gulf of Alaska, possibly reaching down as far the southern Oregon coast bringing with it the very slight possibility of precipitation as it quickly passes over the area Friday.

Along the coast, skies are expected to remain mostly clear, with moderate winds picking up as early as Thursday as a weak low pressure system pushes down from the north, bringing the slight chance of precipitation Friday. Afternoon high temperatures will be near 70 degrees in some areas with morning lows hovering in the mid 50’s.
