More Changes Including a Freeze Watch issued by the National Weather Service Forecast to Start the Work Week

More changes in store to start the work week as an upper level trough moves onshore with rain and showers continuing into mid-week with changes coming with cooler temperatures and unstable air and a Freeze Watch issued by the National Weather Service warning through Tuesday.

Temperatures are expected to cool considerably inland with chances of rain Monday, with a Freeze Watch issued for most of the Illinois Valley including Cave Junction, Selma, Obrien, and Takilma. Temperatures are expected to be the coolest Monday and Tuesday with lows in the very low 30’s, slightly warming to the mid 30’s by mid-week.

Along the coast chances of rain are forecast to continue early in the week with partly to mostly cloudy skies into mid-week. Temperatures will be considerably warmer than the lows inland with early morning lows getting to the low 40’s, with afternoon highs getting to the low 60’s by mid-week.
