Harbor Fire & Rescue along with multiple agencies, including Brookings Fire & Rescue and Winchuck Fire Department responded to reports of a structure fire late Monday afternoon at approximately 5:00pm.
First arriving units arrived to a fully involved structure at the Oceanview address that had already breached and vented through the roof of the two story structure.
Units remained on scene of the fire until late Monday evening extinguishing hot spots, returning multiple times to keep any hot spots from re-igniting and possibly spreading into surrounding property.
According to the Harbor Fire Chief, there were no occupants in the structure, considered an entire loss, at the time of the fire, and no significant injuries were reported.
The fire remains under investigation.
