On Tuesday, March 20th, Andrea Greenfield of Harbor, Oregon, contacted the Curry County Sheriff’s Office to report her son, 25-year-old Max Greenfield also of Harbor as missing.
Andrea Greenfield advised she had last seen Max Greenfield at home on the evening of Saturday, March 17th, and has not seen or heard from him since. Max Greenfield was entered into the Law Enforcement Data System as a missing person.
A subsequent investigation by the Curry County Sheriff’s Office and information provided by friends and family of Max Greenfield yielded information that Max Greenfield had gone to the Lucky 7 Casino in Smith River, California. Security and surveillance officers at Lucky 7 Casino, provided surveillance footage of Max Greenfield at the casino.
Max Greenfield is seen walking into the casino at approximately 1:00 am, on Sunday, 03-18-18, but then he goes outside and waits near the back door of the casino. At approximately 1:50 am, Max Greenfield walks around to the front of the casino and meets up with a white male adult and they talk for several minutes. Max Greenfield and the male are then seen walking south across the parking lot, parallel to Highway 101, until they go off camera, still walking south. This is the last location and time that Max Greenfield is known to have been seen.
Max Greenfield is described as a white male adult, about 6’ tall, 150-160 pounds, brown hair, green eyes and a skeleton key tattoo on his left forearm. Max Greenfield was wearing black jeans, a dark colored t-shirt and a black jacket. Max was also wearing a dark colored knit stocking cap and carrying a black duffel bag.
The Curry County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for any information that might lead to the whereabouts of Max Greenfield. If you have any information, please call the Curry County Sheriff’s Office at 541-247-3242.
