Mostly sunny skies are in the forecast as the work week winds down, keeping temperatures low. However, as the weekend comes into play, a low pressure system is forecast to move down into the region from the north.
This is expected to bring precipitation into the area early Sunday morning and possibly into Monday. Skies are forecast to be mostly sunny going into Saturday, with cloudy skies accumulating late Saturday and rain likely Sunday. Precipitation is expected, however, large accumulations are not anticipated.
Inland, temperatures will remain pleasant under sunny skies going into Saturday. Sunday will become cloudy early in the morning with a chance of showers by mid day. High temperatures will remain in the mid to upper 70’s, dropping to the low 60’s Sunday. Lows will be in the low 40’s throughout.
Along coastal regions, the remaining days of the work week will be much of the same, mild afternoon temperatures under mostly sunny skies. Cloud cover will begin to move in to the region Saturday afternoon with rain likely starting early Sunday. Temperatures are forecast to be in the upper 50’s for highs, and in the mid 40’s for lows.
