And just like that, the high pressure has moved to the east, and, here comes the rain again. An upper level low pressure system will begin to move into the coastal areas of northern California and southern Oregon late Friday night.
This system is forecast to bring widespread precipitation with up to a 1/2 an inch of rain in some locations. As the system moves onshore and presses into the Siskiyou range, rain will develop starting late Friday evening and continuing through out the weekend.
Temperatures are expected to be mild with this system with temperatures in the valley starting in the upper 30’s in the morning to the mid 50’s by Sunday. The coast will not see temperatures dip below 40 and will range from the low to mid 40’s in the mornings, to the mid 50’s in the afternoon.
