Medford Police detectives continue to investigate the scene of a homicide first reported Thursday morning, September 8th, after Medford Police officers responded to reports of gunshots and a disturbance in the area of Lincoln St. at approximately 8:30am.
Officers arrived on scene finding a victim in the street with gunshot wounds. The victim was taken by Mercy Flights to a local hospital where they were later pronounced deceased.
Medford Police Detectives worked Thursday to locate the persons involved, before identifying 26 year old Shawn Robert Conte as a suspect now in an ongoing homicide investigation. Conte should be considered armed and dangerous.
