Medford Fire Department, along with Medford Police officers and crews from Fire District 3 were dispatched to a residential structure fire Saturday evening, November 26th.
First arriving units quickly contained the fire to the kitchen area upon arrival, where the fire is reported to have originated.
The residents were alerted to the fire after hearing a loud noise in the kitchen and discovered the fire which is believed to have been caused by improper disposal of hot materials in a trash can.
