Early Monday afternoon, January 30th, multiple Medford Fire crews, ultimately including Jacksonville Fire, Fire District 3 and Jackson County Fire District, were dispatched to a fire at a commercial property located on Arnold Lane.
Upon arriving on scene, the fire was upgraded to a second alarm fire and additional resources were requested and it was quickly determined that that there had been a structural collapse on the interior of the building from the fire, and that the building would be a total loss.
A defensive posture was then taken to protect surrounding property and personnel, resulting in no reported injuries associated with this fire.
Fire investigators are working with Jackson County Sheriff’s Office and Medford Police to determine origin and cause of the fire. The investigation is ongoing.
