Man Survives Roll-Over Crash

Just before 9:00am Tuesday morning, Rural Metro Fire, American Medical Response, County and Grants Pass Department of Public Safety were dispatched to a rollover crash.

The vehicle landed upside-down in the roadway after shearing off a utility pole that held communication lines. The driver was temporarily trapped inside until firefighters were able to free him using hydraulic cutting tools. He was transported to Three Rivers with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.

Oregon State Police is investigating the cause of the crash, but information gathered at the scene indicated distracted driving may have been a factor.
