Multiple emergency calls regarding a shooting began coning in to Josephine County Sheriff’s Dispatch Friday evening, July 19th, just before 9:20pm at an address on Rogue River Highway.
Initial reports regarding the shooting incident also reported an additional male victim in the parking lot of the apartment complex as Grants Pass Police, along with Oregon State Troopers and Josephine County Sheriff Deputies responded to the Rogue River Highway.address.
Upon arrival, law enforcement personnel located and provided immediate medical care to a male gunshot victim with first responding personnel from Grants Pass Fire/Rescue and AMR paramedics, however the male victim, identified as 24 year old Jose Regalado, succumbed to his injuries.
The incident remains an active investigation, and authorities are requesting anyone with information or video to contact the Grants Pass Police Department at 541-450-6260.
