A search warrant was served by the Humboldt County Drug Task Force on Wednesday, February 22nd, regarding information that large amounts of methamphetamine was being sold out of a residence in Eureka.
According to the Humboldt County Drug Task Force press release, when agents arrived on scene, the subject, identified as 60 year old Brian Fleming, was scene attempting to flee out the rear of the residence where he was detained without incident.
Upon a search of the property agents located over two pounds of methamphetamine, a firearm, ammunition, metal knuckles, and a digital scale.
Fleming was subsequently arrested on multiple charges including Possession of a controlled substance for sale, Possession of a controlled substance while armed with a firearm, Maintaining a residence for narcotics use, Felon in possession of a firearm, and Felon in possession of ammunition.
