On Tuesday, January 29th, the Grants Pass Department of Public Safety was contacted by a family member of Jonathan Pickle. The family member reported finding images on Pickle’s cellular phone which they believed to be child pornography.
An evaluation of the images confirmed the presence of several downloaded photographs from the internet of sexually explicit conduct involving children.
Jonathan Pickle was stopped by a Grants Pass Police Officer near his home and subsequently transported to the police department, interviewed and ultimately jailed in the Josephine County Jail and charged with 6 counts of Encouraging child abuse 1.
