On Thursday, March 18th, the Oregon State Police Explosives Unit in conjunction with the Medford Police Department served a search warrant on a residence in Medford, Oregon.
This was the result of an ongoing investigation related to multiple reports of explosions across the Rogue Valley.
Investigators from the Oregon State Police and the Medford Police Department identified 23 year old Brian Lighthill as a suspect, and during the search of the residence located numerous items relating to the manufacturing of destructive devices.
Lighthill was arrested and charged with 23 counts of Manufacturing of a Destructive Device as well as 9 counts of Possession of a Destructive Device and lodged in the Jackson County Jail.
