The Coos County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center received a report of an assault, Wednesday, April 5th, at 6:00pm, that had occurred at Lighthouse Beach with the victim currently located at Bay Area Hospital in Coos Bay.
A Coos County Sheriff’s Deputy was dispatched and responded to the hospital and met with the victim, who was being treated for injuries sustained in the assault.
During the investigation, it was learned the victim was allegedly held against her will for several days at Lighthouse Beach while being physically assaulted several times.
After speaking with the victim, the Deputy attempted to contact the suspect, identified as 41 year old Brian A. Donaldson, who was located in Lakeside at the Lakeshore Lodge.
As a result of the investigation, Brian A. Donaldson was arrested on the charges of kidnapping I, 4 counts of assault IV domestic, 4 counts of strangulation, harassment, and menacing, and transported to the Coos County Jail, where he remains in custody.
