Man Arrested for Cave Junction Stabbing in November

On February 5, 2018 there was a secret indictment which resulted in the arrest of Glenn Seybold. Seybold is being charged with attempted murder and first-degree assault from a stabbing that occurred in Cave Junction in November.

On November 21st, 2017 at approximately 2:00 pm, the Oregon State Police Criminal Investigation Division was requested to assist the Josephine County Sheriff’s Office in regards to a stabbing which occurred outside the Sportsman Tavern in Cave Junction, Oregon.

Cave Junction resident, 50-year-old William Riviea, was transported to Three Rivers Medical Center for treatment of life-threatening stab wounds. The second subject involved in the incident, who names were not released at the time, is cooperating with investigators.
