On Friday, July 31st, the Grants Department of Public Safety responded to Three Rivers Medical Center regarding a female shooting victim. The victim was identified as 43 year old Julie Names from Josephine County.
The Oregon State Police Major Crime Team was called and responded to the hospital as hospital staff made every effort to revive the victim but were unsuccessful, and she was pronounced deceased.

The suspect, 41 year old Travis Albins of Josephine County, was arrested today and charged with Unlawful use of a Weapon and Manslaughter I.
