On Wednesday night just before 9:00 pm, the Illinois Valley Fire District, American Medical Response and the Oregon State Police responded to a two-vehicle Traffic Accident at the intersection Hwy. 199 and Laurel Rd.
Before any units arrived the drivers and witness moved off of 199 to the south onto Golf Club Drive. After it was determined that there were no injuries, American Medical Response was released from the scene.
The Oregon State Police requested the Illinois Valley Fire District open the trunk of the Chevrolet to enable the driver and passenger to remove their personal items.
One driver was arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants (DUII) and Reckless Driving.
