The Del Norte County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to an address on Maher Ave., Thursday March 28th, regarding a report of a male subject being attacked with a baseball bat and machete.
A male subject, with multiple injuries was located by first responders upon arrival and the victim of this incident was transported to Sutter Coast Hospital for treatment.
During the investigation, 32 year old Warren Bailey, turned himself in at the Del Norte County Sheriff’s Office, and with the assistance of the Crescent City Police Department, Bailey was taken into custody.
Bailey is currently being held at the Del Norte County Jail on multiple charges including, Attempted Murder, Assault with a deadly weapon and Vandalism.
