Local Restaurants Struggle…Here’s how to Help

On Monday afternoon Oregon Governor Kate Brown announced that the state would be implementing a ban on gatherings of more than 25 people while restricting restaurants and bars to offer take-out and delivery only.

The consumption of food or beverages are prohibited at the establishments under the restriction, and any business that violates these restrictions will be committing a misdemeanor under Oregon law in an emergency situation.

Grocery stores, pharmacies and various retail stores will be exempt from the operational ban.

The new measures, slated to last four weeks, are devastating to local restaurants and bars.

Our local restaurants and bars were there when you needed to impress with best clam chowder around, or when you needed to feed the whole team…, they have been there when we needed them. Well, they need you now.

Wild River Pizza

At Wild River Pizza we are doing all we can to make sure your take-out experience with us goes smoothly and we are prepared to take on a lot of orders!!

Here is how it works! You simply call us at 541-469-7454 and make your order! We will give you an estimated wait time for your order. When you get to the restaurant you can come inside and pick it up OR pick a numbered parking spot and call us to let us know you are here (we will bring it right out to you)!

Superfly Martini Bar and Grill

Superfly will be open from 11AM-7PM everyday for pick up, to-go orders and deliveries. Our phone number is 541-373-0348, call or come in to order. There will be no breakfast food, Seared Tuna, or Mussels. Thank you for the support!

Cazadores Mexican Restaurant

Cazadores will be offering take-outs and delivery as well during this time.

Cazadores will be open from 11am-7pm with a full menu for to-go orders and will be offering free delivery from 11am-7pm on orders over $30.00 in Brookings and Harbor only. To place an order call 541-813-2632.

Compass Rose Cafe

The Compass Rose Cafe located at 625 Chetco Ave. in Brookings will be providing To-Go or delivery food service under modified business hours (8am – 2pm) on Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. If you decide to order To-Go from the Compass Rose Cafe, we ask that you please call 541-661-7772 when you are outside. We will bring your food to you.

The Hungry Clam

The Hungry Clam located on Lower Harbor Rd. at the marina in Brookings, will open with a full menu. They will have curbside pick up…to-go orders…and free delivery in Brookings and Harbor for orders of $40.00.

Catalyst Seafood

Catalyst Seafood is making all the adjustments in order to continue to serve our community with the utmost of care. While the dine in restrictions are in effect we will still be open and offering the following services.

Curbside service – this will allow our customers to order off our menu and be served from the convenience of their vehicle in front of our restaurant.

Call In & Takeout – our costumers can call in and order from the menu and pick up at the restaurant. Our number is 541-813-2422.

Retail – We will continue to sell our live & cooked Crab, along with all our canned Tuna.

Keeping our customers safe is our highest priority. We have a very strict sanitation policy at Catalyst Seafood and will continue to monitor the daily health of all our employees.

Fat Irish Kitchen and Pub located on Lower Harbor Rd., Harbor, will be providing takeout service and delivery for orders over $20.00 in Brookings and Harbor. They can also fill your growlers with your favorite draft beers.

Oceanside Diner

Oceanside Diner will be open 7 days a week beginning at 4:30am until 11am serving a slightly limited take out menu and sack lunches. We will continue to stay open on this basis until we can’t any more.
Customers can call in their orders at 541-469-7971. Or come on in and place your Togo order in person. Gift certificates are also available. We would also like to thank everyone in the community for their much needed support at this time.

Oxenfre Public House

In light of the mandatory closure of all restaurants and bars in Oregon effective that began Tuesday 3/17, the Oxenfre Public House located at 631 Chetco Ave., in
Brookings will be offering take out.
