The Lady Bruins Volleyball team was on the road last night at the #1 South Umpqua Lancers who have only dropped 1 set in all of league play. Coach Lorinda Shew described the Lancers as “a seasoned team solid all around” were again very tough.
The Lady Bruins continue to improve serving accuracy as Gracie Harms had 3 aces as they increase their presence at the net with 4 points off of blocks at the net. The Lady Bruins showed they are not going to give up as they accumulated 24 digs on the night showing heart battling the #1 team. Lexi Pacino and Mayce McCollum both had 6 digs and Gracie Harms and Sanoe Fanene both had 4 digs each of their own.
Coach Shew spoke of unforced hitting errors and difficulty receiving serves as areas she and the team will be focusing on before the Lady Bruins meet 3-4 Douglas at home next Tuesday at 6:30.
