Coming off of a 14-2 drubbing handed to the Gold Beach Lady Panthers Tuesday, the Lady Bruins hit the road to visit the 1-2 Hidden Valley Lady Mustangs for the first time in pre-season play.

Sophomore Gracie Harms took the hill for the Lady Bruins and went seven innings, allowing seven runs on six hits and struck out seven.

Both teams showed strong offense at the plate as the Lady Bruins struck first in the first inning when Tilly Peters, sitting on an 0-2 count singled in a run.
In the fourth inning, the Lady Bruins put together a six-run lead only to have the Lady Mustangs string together 5 runs of their own in an effort to catch the Lady Bruins in the late innings.

The Lady Bruins had 13 hits in the contest with Allison Graves, Madison Taylor, Kayci Jones, Jordan Pryor, and Stephanie Clay all managing multiple hits for the now 4-2 Lady Bruins in preseason play.
