The Lady Bruins ran into a North Bend Lady Bulldogs team that rolled into Brookings riding a five-game winning streak.

Starting pitcher for the Lady Bruins was Gracie Harms who struggled to keep a powerful Lady Bulldog team off the base paths as North Bend recorded double-digit hits on the day.

Although the Lady Bruins played relatively solid defense with some spectacular defensive plays, North Bend racked up the hits and Brookings-Harbor could not overcome 11 errors combined from both games.

North Bend starting pitchers Cheyenne Datan and Charlee Lincoln combined to allow only 6 hits total from both games, keeping the Lady Bruins off the bases for most of the games.

The Lady Bruins will not get a break as they travel to 8-1 South Umpqua next Tuesday.
