If smoke impacts your area, make sure you keep your windows and doors closed to keep inside air as clean as possible. Avoid vigorous outdoor activities and limit your time spent in smoky areas. Also stay hydrated. Those with heart or lung disease or respiratory illnesses such as asthma, are most likely to be affected when air quality decreases.
