Community support for Kalmiopsis Elementary School could put janitor Frank Hernandez in position to win the Janitor of the Year contest by Cintas, and they need your help. If Frank is selected as the winner, Kalmiopsis Elementary School will win a $5,000 makeover from Cintas AND Frank will also receive $5,000 from Cintas!
Frank Hernandez is the Head Custodian at Kalmiopsis Elementary School. He has been the Head Custodian at Kalmiopsis for 3 dedicated years. Kalmiopsis Elementary School would like to nominate Frank for the Cintas Janitor of the Year Contest…and they need your help.
Frank came to Kalmiopsis 3 years ago after Sue Snyder retired. Knowing she had high standards, Frank knew it would be hard to fill her shoes. From incredibly waxed floors to a spotlessly clean campus and playground, he has kept to the high standards she trained him on.
Frank loves his job at Kalmiopsis Elementary School, admires the staff and cares for every student. Kalmiopsis isn’t just a job for Frank, “it’s a place where Teachers come to transform children’s lives and children come to thrive and learn” he said.
He understands how important it is for their learning environment to be clean and safe for each child to get the best school experience possible!
Frank participates in school functions so students can feel comfortable participating in school spirit weeks. He also helps the PTO with funds raisers and has been known to donate funds for various teachers and class functions.
