On Sunday October 7th, both lanes of northbound Interstate 5 came to a stand still for several hours between Talent and Phoenix after a vehicle and a semi-truck maneuvered to avoid debris in the roadway collided and came to rest completely blocking the roadway.
No injuries were reported in the accident, but as of approximately 10:30am Sunday morning both lanes of Interstate 5 north were impassable until about 1:45pm when wrecking crews were able to get one lane open. All lanes of Interstate 5 north were finally reported open at 9:50pm.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
