On Thursday, April 30th, Del Norte Probation Officers conducted a check on a probationer. Probation officers arriving at the residence observed two individuals in a truck in the driveway, exit the truck and the area quickly.
A third person was questioned and released while the Probation Officers secured the scene and obtained a search warrant for the vehicle.
On serving the warrant regarding the truck in the driveway, 1 large tote of marijuana, several ounces of kief, hypodermic needles, a .22 revolver, brass knuckles, heroin, and methamphetamine were among the approximately $15,000 worth of narcotics seized from the vehicle.
Officers are following up to determine if any arrests will be made in relation to this seizure.
