Early Wednesday morning, just after 2:30am, Gasquet Fire Department and the California Highway Patrol responded to a single vehicle crash north of the Caltrans Yard on Hwy. 199.
First responders arrived on the scene of a single-vehicle rollover crash. The crash scene temporarily closed the southbound lane of Hwy. 199, and sent one person to the hospital with major injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
