On July 28th, 2020 the Josephine County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a motorcycle vs car crash on Krauss Lane in Cave Junction Oregon.
Deputies arrived to a scene of a black colored street bike approximately 150 feet off the roadway. Investigation determined the motorcycle was the only vehicle involved in the crash and was occupied by 33 year old Dottie Greenlee and 35 year old Justyn Johnson. Both females were wearing helmets.
Mercy Flights was requested by medical personnel on scene and Johnson was transported by Mercy Flights while Greenlee was transported by American Medical Response ambulance.
Inexperience of the rider may have contributed to the crash. The incident continues to be under investigation at this time.
