On Sunday afternoon, August 18, just after 2:00pm the Illinois Valley Fire District and American Medical Response responded to a two vehicle crash on Hwy. 199 just south of O’Brien.
Two persons were transported to Asante Three Rivers Medical Center by American Medical Response this time with non-life threatening injuries.
Hwy. 199 was closed for a short time while Illinois Valley Fire District and CERT team set up one lane of alternating traffic. The vehicles were removed within the hour and the HWY was fully reopened.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by Josephine County Sheriff’s Office.
