Afternoon valley temperatures are likely to reach 100 to 102 degrees away from the coast this weekend. These afternoon temperatures alone will create a moderate risk for heat-related impacts, and contribute to high fire danger in the area.
A ridge of high pressure will usher in warm temperatures along the coast as well with high’s reaching close to 80 degrees as the weekend continues. Breezy conditions will keep temperatures cool along the coast with lows hitting the mid-50’s.
