Late Thursday, Josephine County 911 received a report of a Residential Fire at 1887 Nebraska Ave. Crews from Grants Pass Fire and Rural Metro Fire were quickly dispatched.
Crews arrived on scene to find a residential dwelling with heavy fire involvement.An aggressive fire attack was started and the fire was knocked down 12 minutes after the arrival of the first fire unit.
Crews then began a lengthy overhaul process to ensure the fire was fully extinguished. During the fire crews were able to rescue 1 dog and 4 baby chickens.
