Coastal areas will generally remain under the influence of the marine layer.
The stratus clouds have moved into the coastal regions mainly below 2,000 feet and confined to the coastal areas and river valleys near the coast.
Clouds are expected to clear back to near the coast this afternoon, but the immediate coast may only see a few breaks in the clouds.
