The National Weather Service is warning of a strong winter storm moving in today with periods of moderate to heavy snow likely through at least Friday. Now’s the time to alter travel plans and prepare for the wintry weather.
Snow levels start near 4000 feet today, but drop to 2500 feet tonight. Eventually, enough cold air will move in resulting in snow all the way to west side valley floors late Thursday into Friday. This is expected to be the biggest storm of the season.
