Grants Pass Police Recover Several Stolen Fire Arms

On Friday, January 11th, the Grants Pass Department Public Safety Officers investigated a residential burglary involving the theft of several firearms. On Sunday, January 13th, Grants Pass Detectives received information identifying possible suspects and a location where the stolen items were being kept.

Grants Pass Detectives obtained a search warrant regarding a local apartment. Due to the nature of the investigation and firearms being involved, the Grants Pass SWAT team was activated. It was the SWAT team that executed the search warrant at approximately 6:00am Monday morning, January 14th. Inside the residence were both Matthew Bosse and Carrisa Tillet. Both were taken into custody without incident.

Detectives conducted a search of the residence and vehicles outside the residence. Several firearms and other items belonging to the burglary victim were recovered. The investigation lead to making contact with Crystal Long-Peterson at a local motel. Long-Peterson was subsequently arrested for her involvement with the burglary. All involved were arrested and lodged at the Josephine County Jail on several charges.
