On Sunday, September 10th, a CRAB and TRI-TIP STEAK dinner event will be held at he Brookings-Harbor High School cafeteria for firefighters, emergency crews, national guard, first responders and the community.
The community can help by donating, and inviting friends to sponsor 200 more dinners before Sunday night.
Mike Freels has provided 500 pounds of crab, BC Fisheries will be cleaning and storing the crab, while Wild River Pizza has supplied 125 pounds of Tri-Tip Steak.
Thanks to all of these generous local business sponsors, Tidewater Contractor’s Inc, Century 21, Baywest Mortgage, Banana Belt Property Management, Musser/Olsen Accounting, Rory Smith, Dr. Bodman from Precision Eye Care, Carpenter Tire Center, Bauer Automotive, Harbor Logging Supply, RE/MAX Coast and Country, Dr. Walker and the Eye Center of Brookings, and Les Schwab Tires, over 100 free meals to the firefighters have already been sponsored.
After all expenses, any additional proceeds will be donated to the High school boys/girls basketball programs.
