Multiple agencies, including Rural Metro Fire responded to reports of a structure fire on Fish Hatchery Road just before 8:00pm, Tuesday evening, December 27th.
First arriving units came upon a two story residence that prompted a second alarm and ultimately took more than 8 hours to control.
The blaze destroyed a large 2-story residence and sent one occupant to the hospital with burn injuries overnight. Details of the injuries or the cause are not available at this time.
The fire is under investigation by Rural Metro Fire with the assistance of the Oregon State Fire Marshal.
