A fast moving low pressure system is forecast to move into the region and interrupt the pattern of mostly sunny skies and drier days beginning late Thursday evening bringing substantial chances for precipitation Friday before quickly leaving the area, returning the drier, sunnier weather pattern to close out the weekend.
The National Weather Service has issued a Dense Fog Advisory for inland areas with dense areas of fog under mostly cloudy skies into Friday before chances of precipitation clearing Saturday. Cold morning low temperatures are expected lows ranging from the upper 30’s to near freezing into the weekend with afternoon highs in the mid to upper 40’s.
Along the coast, clouds are expected to build Thursday afternoon as a fast moving front begins to move onshore bringing significant chances of precipitation into Friday before clearing Saturday and into Sunday. Temperatures are forecast to be in the upper 50’s to low 60’s for afternoon highs with lows cooling to the low 40’s.
