Temperatures are forecast to bring a prolonged period of triple digit heat over the next several days and possibly continuing into next week. Dangerously hot conditions possible over the weekend with highs of 101 to 109 across the Valley.
Overnight lows will offer little relief as temperatures are expected to hover near 70 degrees.
On the coast, temperatures again are forecast to be in the upper 70’s, however, the Brookings-Harbor area could be susceptible to another round of the Chetco Effect as the week progresses.
