Early Morning Traffic Stop Results in 7 ounces of Meth, 390 Fentanyl Pills, 2 Guns and 2 Arrests

Very early Monday morning, December 2nd, a traffic stop on a vehicle in the Winco parking lot was conducted at approximately 1:04am by an Officer from the Eureka Police Department for a traffic violation.  

The Officer contacting the occupants of the vehicle learned that one of the occupants was on searchable probation and the other had an active warrant for their arrest which resulted in the occupants subsequently being detained and the vehicle searched.

During the search of the vehicle, Officers located two handguns, one of which was loaded, over 7 ounces of suspected Methamphetamine, 390 Fentanyl pills, and approximately two pounds of processed marijuana.

21 year old Logan Rain Brewerhearst from Eureka, was arrested and booked at the Humboldt County Correctional Facility on charges of possession of methamphetamines with intent to sell, felony possession of a usable amount of a controlled substance while being armed with a loaded and operable firearm, sale or transportation for the sale of methamphetamine, possession for sale of a controlled substance, concealed carry of a firearm on your person or in your vehicle, carrying a loaded firearm by a non-registered person.  

The second occupant, 21 year old Ronald Steven McNair from Eureka, was taken into custody and booked on probation violation.
