Eagle Point School District Employee Arrested on Allegations of Sexual Abuse

After a month-long investigation into allegations of sexual abuse, detectives with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit arrested an Eagle Point School District employee, Thursday, November 21st, after the Eagle Point School District employee turned herself in at the Sheriff’s Office.  

The suspect, identified as 38 year old Amanda Rose Leonardo, also known as Pody,  of Eagle Point, has been charged with three counts of third-degree sexual abuse, luring a minor, tampering with physical evidence, and providing liquor to a person under 21.

The identified victims were of high school age, however, the charges are unrelated to her position with Eagle Point School District.

The case remains under further investigation and Leonardo has been lodged in the Jackson County Jail.
