The investigation stemmed from a seizure by Homeland Security who had taken over 20 kilos of product in route to the Coos Bay area for the purpose of making the psychedelic drug N-Dimethyltryptamine, also known as DMT. The substance was mailed from Mexico directly to the above-mentioned residence. After further investigation it was determined there had been numerous other packages delivered.
During the execution of the search warrant, an active Clandestine lab purposed to extract DMT was located on the property. Also located in the residence was a large quantity of psilocybin mushrooms, suspected LSD, Firearms, a large amount of US Currency, and additional precursors for the manufacturing DMT.
Oregon State Police Clandestine Lab Team and US Ecology responded to assist with safely removing the DMT lab.
The Oregon Department of Human Services/Child Protective Services took a 3 year old child into protective custody. The child was evaluated at the hospital for any signs of exposure to the chemicals involved.
The two suspects involved were taken into custody and transported to the Coos County Jail.
