Drug Bust Yields Pound of Heroin and Meth

During the past month, detectives gained information that drug traffickers were bringing large amounts of heroin and methamphetamine into the area. On

On Tuesday afternoon, June 5th, detectives from Rogue Area Drug Enforcement were conducting follow-up at Schroeder Park regarding an investigation that was started in May earlier this year.

As a result of the investigation, Detectives were able to arrest three subjects and seize approximately 1 pound of heroin and over 2 ounces of methamphetamine. Scales, packaging material and a large sum of money were also seized.

Arrested were 41-year-old Robert S. Simmons, 41-year-old Myles B. Hook, and 29-year-old Sharmalee R. Nadarajah on charges of Manufacture, Delivery-Possession of Heroin and Methamphetamine, and other existing Out of County Warrants.
Simmons had warrants out of other Oregon counties (Clackamas and Washington)for similar crimes. All three subjects were interviewed and placed in jail.
